Play at the historic Royal Colombo Golf Club, the scenic Victoria Golf & Country Resort, Nuwara Eliya Golf Club and the course at Shangri-La Hambantota. Between rounds, explore Colombo, Kandy and the central highlands, with an optional Yala safari adding wildlife to the programme. Private transport and carefully planned transfers allow golfers to focus on the game while still experiencing Sri Lanka’s landscapes and heritage. Itinerary
Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport and transfer to a Colombo hotel. Rest after the flight and prepare for your first round of golf.
Play a round at the historic Royal Colombo Golf Club, located within the capital. Later, explore selected city landmarks, shops and restaurants.
Travel into the hills to Kandy and visit Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens. Explore the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic and enjoy the city’s lakeside setting.
Play at Victoria Golf & Country Resort, surrounded by reservoir and mountain views. Spend the remainder of the day enjoying the resort’s facilities and peaceful environment.
Travel into tea country and visit a working tea estate. Play a round at Nuwara Eliya Golf Club, where the cool climate and historic surroundings create a distinctive golfing experience.
Descend to the southern coast and check into your resort in Hambantota. Play at the resort course and use your leisure time to enjoy the beach, pool and coastal facilities.
Choose between a relaxed day at the resort and an optional wildlife safari in nearby Yala National Park. End the day with dinner beside the southern coast.
Travel north to Negombo for a convenient final overnight stay near the airport. Relax by the beach and enjoy a farewell dinner with your fellow travellers.
Transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport following breakfast. Depart after a golf holiday combining varied courses, culture and island scenery.
