Tour Summary
Duration: 16 Nights / 17 Days
The Great Island Safari is an immersive Sri Lanka wildlife tour connecting the island’s most important national parks, rainforests, wetlands and highland ecosystems. Beginning in Wilpattu, the journey continues through Minneriya, Horton Plains, Kumana, Udawalawe, Yala and Sinharaja, creating opportunities to observe leopards, elephants, sloth bears, primates and endemic birds. Cultural heritage, tea country, scenic railway travel and coastal relaxation complement the safari experiences. With a slower pace and broad geographical coverage, this tour suits wildlife enthusiasts, photographers and nature-focused travellers who want to understand Sri Lanka’s biodiversity rather than visit only a single national park.
