Itinerary
Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport and transfer to Negombo. Relax at your hotel and enjoy your first sunset beside the coast.
Travel to Habarana and join an elephant safari in Minneriya or a nearby park. Experience rural life in Hiriwadunna before climbing the historic Sigiriya Rock Fortress.
Rise early for a hot-air balloon flight over the Cultural Triangle, subject to weather and seasonal operation. Spend the remainder of the day relaxing together at your hotel.
Visit the ancient Dambulla Cave Temple before continuing to Kandy. In the evening, enjoy a traditional cultural performance featuring dance and drumming.
Explore the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic and discover the city’s royal traditions. Later, visit Ambuluwawa Tower for expansive mountain views.
Travel into tea country and visit a tea estate or factory. Take the scenic train to Ella, passing forests, waterfalls and mountain valleys.
