Itinerary
Begin the journey with a visit to Munneswaram Temple near Chilaw. Continue inland to Dambulla and settle into the Cultural Triangle.
Climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress before travelling to Trincomalee. Visit Koneswaram Temple and the Kanniya Hot Springs while exploring the region’s sacred and coastal heritage.
Return toward the central region and explore Dambulla Cave Temple. Continue to Kandy and enjoy the atmosphere of Sri Lanka’s final royal capital.
Visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic before travelling through the mountains. Stop at Sri Baktha Hanuman Temple and continue to Nuwara Eliya.
Spend the day visiting Divurumpola, Sita Amman Temple, Ashoka Vatika and Gayathri Peedam. Learn about the traditions linking each site to the Ramayana.
Descend from the cool highlands to Bentota on the western coast. Use the evening for rest, beach relaxation and reflection.
Visit Rumassala Hill, traditionally linked with the Sanjivani episode. Continue to Galle Fort and explore its colonial streets and coastal ramparts.
Travel to Colombo and visit Panchamuga Anjaneyar Temple. Complete your city sightseeing and allow time for shopping or a group dinner.
Visit Kelaniya, associated with Vibhishana’s coronation in Ramayana tradition. Transfer to the airport for departure after completing the pilgrimage.
