A Glimpse of Your Journey
Itinerary
Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport and meet your private chauffeur-guide before transferring to nearby Negombo. Settle into the island atmosphere with a beach walk, a seafood dinner or an optional sunset boat ride through the Muthurajawela mangroves.
Travel inland through rural landscapes to Habarana, located within Sri Lanka’s Cultural Triangle. Later, climb the UNESCO-listed Sigiriya Rock Fortress and enjoy panoramic views across the surrounding forests and ancient water gardens.
Continue to Trincomalee, a historic harbour city on Sri Lanka’s East Coast. Visit the clifftop Koneswaram Temple, explore the coastline and snorkel among coral reefs and marine life around Pigeon Island.
Unwind beside Pasikudah’s famously shallow and calm coastline, where the sea remains gentle for a considerable distance. Spend your time swimming, relaxing on the beach or enjoying the facilities of your coastal resort.
Travel south to Arugam Bay, Sri Lanka’s best-known surf destination. Take a surfing lesson, explore beach cafés and nearby lagoons, or simply enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of this palm-fringed coastal town.
Leave the coast temporarily and travel to Yala for an afternoon wildlife safari. Explore the park by 4×4 while searching for elephants, crocodiles, deer, birdlife and the elusive Sri Lankan leopard.
Continue along the southern coastline to historic Galle. Walk along the ramparts of Galle Fort, explore boutique shops and cafés, and experience the city’s blend of colonial architecture and coastal culture.
Visit the Kosgoda Sea Turtle Conservation Project before travelling to Colombo. Spend your final evening exploring the capital’s markets, dining venues, modern shopping centres and waterfront attractions.
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before transferring privately to Bandaranaike International Airport. Depart Sri Lanka with memories of its beaches, wildlife, culture and warm coastal hospitality.
