Itinerary
Arrive in Sri Lanka and transfer to Negombo, a convenient coastal stop close to the airport. Relax at your hotel, explore the local fish market or take an optional boat journey through nearby lagoons and mangroves.
Travel south to Tangalle, known for its less-crowded beaches and dramatic coastal scenery. Visit the Hummanaya Blow Hole, explore Mulgirigala Rock Temple or spend quiet time beside the Indian Ocean.
Continue to Mirissa for a combination of marine adventure and beach relaxation. Join an early whale-watching excursion, visit Coconut Tree Hill, try surfing or enjoy the town’s restaurants and sunset views.
Visit Unawatuna and, depending on conditions, enjoy time at Jungle Beach. Later, explore the UNESCO-listed Galle Fort, walking through its cobbled streets, historic buildings, boutiques and cafés.
Travel to lively Hikkaduwa, known for coral reefs, water sports and beachfront entertainment. Take a glass-bottom boat ride, try paddleboarding or spend time relaxing beside the ocean.
Visit the Kosgoda Sea Turtle Conservation Project and learn about efforts to protect threatened marine turtles. Continue to Bentota for a final day of swimming, resort relaxation and wide golden beaches.
After breakfast, transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport in time for your departure. Your coastal holiday concludes with a final scenic drive through Sri Lanka’s western region.
